Who is the Pediatric Physical Therapist?
Kymm Sherman Lee, PT, MSPT graduated from The University of Tennessee at Memphis with her BS in Physical Therapy in 1993 and with her MS in Physical Therapy in 2003. She became a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Pediatric Physical Therapy in 2002. She has worked at LeBonheur Children's Medical Center in Memphis and Vanderbilt Children's in Nashville over the past 21 years in the areas of acute care, ICU, inpatient rehab, outpatient rehab and home health with children from birth to 21 years of age. She is an APTA certified Clinical Instructor and has performed numerous presentations to the physical therapy students at The University of Tennessee at Memphis and Tennessee State University, as well as professionally in the Memphis and Nashville areas. She is a TPTA course reviewer, and served on the PT Program Advisory Committee at the PT program at Belmont University. She also served on the UT Memphis SAC Advisory Committee as an Alumni Representative. She has attended numerous courses on Neuro Developmental Treatment (NDT), Myofascial Release, Sensory Integration, Wilbarger’s Deep Pressure Proprioceptive Technique, Dynamic Splinting, Cascade DAFOs, Spasticity Management and Developmental Delays over the past 21 years.
